Good Times

This is another random post with random pictures.  But I want to include them because they're fun family memories!
The first two are a family dinner night at Dion's Pizza.
I decided to capture a few pictures because I noticed that you looked so grown up and I think we're beginning to look more alike.  But I seem to be the only one who think so.  Bummer!

And the picture below is of you and Sophia playing together.  It actually looks like the perfect way for one of you to get injured but you guys were giggling like crazy.  I love that you play together now.  Sisters make the best of friends.

I love you,
Mom

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy is 29 years old.  It is the last year that he will spend in his 20's and I think it's a bittersweet birthday for him.
His birthday fell on a Sunday, like yours and we decided to make another exception and go to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
Daddy rode the saddle and we ate some great food.
Did I mention that Daddy and I had to give talks in sacrament meeting?
Daddy was such a champion and did his without hesitation.
He is always so poised.  The second he opens his mouth, he invites the spirit to flood a room.
I am grateful for him and for his priesthood.
He is a wonderful man.
I love him dearly.
And I know he loves you and Sophia very much.
There's nothing else he'd rather do than be a dad.  I am proud and so lucky to call him my husband.
Always treat him with the respect he deserves.
I love you honey,
Mom

Chloe's Imagination

You make me laugh!
You are constantly playing pretend.  You play "Mommy and Baby" where one toy will whine and cry and the Mommy toy will either soothe or lecture the crying toy.  Hmm... I suppose that's what I do.
You'll also read to your toys, put on puppet shows for them, or just toss them around.
I loved how you lined up all your toys here.
It's neat to see how your "play" has changed.  It's much more interactive now.
I love you babe,
Mom

Fish and Friends

We got to visit the ABQ aquarium with lots of friends.
There were lots of boys there so girls teamed up and clung together.  You and Brinley Sego in particularly held hands and guided each other around.  One of your best friend, Austin's, feelings were a little hurt by it though.  He kept trying to hold your hand and you would refuse to.  You just wanted to chill with the girls.  It was funny but it made me so sad for Austin.
Be nice to everyone, please.  We all have feelings that are delicate and it is important to consider everyone's feelings.
I hope that you will always be a loving person who helps everyone to feel like they have a friend because this  world isn't always so kind.

Also, Daddy was away on a Sunday which rarely happens.  So we took some pictures to let him know we missed him.  He's got a family of beautiful girls!

I love you honey!
You're growing up so fast.
Love,
Mom

Happy Valentine's Day!

"L" is for the way you Look at me,
"O" is for the Only one I see,
"V" is very, very, extraordinary,
"E" is Even more than anyone that you adore can
LOVE is all that I can give to you....
Happy Valentines Day!
The holiday of love.
We decided to host a Valentines Day party with all the people you love the most (minus a few).  We let parents go out for a date night and all your cousins were left her to have some fun.  We decorated cookies, ate pizza, did a pinata, and had lots and lots of fun.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with family.
I love you,
Mom!

Shrine Circus

We all know that between you and your daddy, we've got plenty of clowns in our family.  So why not go visit your distant cousins at the shrine circus, right?
Just kidding, you are not related to any clowns but you sure know how to act silly.
While daddy was away on a work trip, the circus came to Albuquerque.  I decided to call Grandma and Grandpa and invite them along.  Grandma was busy at work but Grandpa Allen and Uncle Josh were free to see the show... and help me with my needy children (I say that in a loving way... I promise).  We watched dancing elephants, jumping tigers, fast motorcycles that flew through the air, and much more.  It was a great time.  The only time you got went into a fit was when you took a single lick of your ice cream cone and the whole top fell to the floor.  You were so disappointed!  But grandpa saved the day with cotton candy!  I'm sure glad they came along for the ride.
It was a good night!
Love you... Clown!

Belle Mom

I spent a few days away from the family in January to run off to Florida with Aunty Sunny.
Literally... we ran.
We ran the Disney World Marathon in costume.
I was Belle.  Aunty Sunny was Snow White.
I was so nervous about leaving my girls back in New Mexico.
But when you're a mother, I want you to know that it is OKAY for you to take time for yourself.  In fact, PLEASE take time for yourself.  Find a husband that will LET you do it without making you feel guilty too.  And good luck finding that guy... I think I snatched the last one up.  I love your dad.  I am so grateful for his willingness to help me accomplish my goals.
Anyways...
When I got home and showed you all the pictures, you began to say that you had a Belle Mom.  I would say, "Chloe that's me in those picture."  And you would kindly respond with, "No, no, no, that is my Belle Mom who lives in the castle."
One day, you'll understand that it really is me in these pictures.
And I am a princess.
As are you.
Princess Chloe, I love you!
