Family Day at the Aquarium

We got a year pass to the zoo, aquarium and botanical gardens.  Us girls have been to the aquarium several times with Auntie Sunny and Andrea.  For the first time this summer, we were able to go with Daddy.  We all enjoy it SO much when Daddy can join us because he is so much fun!  He is the best daddy ever... seriously.
You completely adore him.
He gives so much attention to his girls.. making us each feel unique, special, and like a princess.
I love him so much!
I hope you're lucky enough to find a man like him.
He works hard, loves unconditionally, and is all around AWESOME.

Your favorite part of the aquarium is either the castle or bug searching.  There are planters with lots of flowers in them (at the botanical gardens.. obviously lol!), and you can find tons of rolly pollies in them as well.  We've even seen some slugs before.  You bravely scoop up the bugs and play with them.
Ew.
I think you're brave.
Love you,
Mom

Famiy Date Night: Putt Putt

Putt-putt champion!
That's who you are.
For this fun family date night, we drove into Sonic for a fatty dinner then drove on up to Hinkle Family Fun Center... where our story began (Daddy took me there on our first date).
You picked a black ball, of course.  Black is your favorite color. I had pink and daddy had blue-- I think.
We had a blast.

We have a pretty awesome family!
I'm sure glad you're a part of it!
Love you Chloster,
Mom

Fashion Show

Daddy goes out of town for work at least once a month.  This month, to pass the time, I invited Auntie Sunny and your cousins over for a spa day and fashion show.  Auntie Sunny and I were your slaves as we pampered you.
You kids loved every. SINGLE. SECOND.
There were three stations: hair, nails, and make up.
While you sat, we poured lemonade in plastic champagne glasses (left over from a Relief Society activity) and you girls sipped away.

Once your hair was fluffed, nails painted, and make-up done... you all got to dress yourselves (with a little guidance from the silly mom's).  Then, you got to strut your stuff...

Christian played dress up too!

You girls are all SO gorgeous!  You will be heartbreakers.
I hope that you remember that being a heartbreaker is a good thing.  In fact, it's a right that you have!  You should save all of your beauty for your husband.  No one should try to convince you otherwise, and if they do... BREAK THAT HEART!  A great deal of beauty is physical but even greater part is that which is inside you.  Remember to always have integrity.  Respect yourself.  Respect the body that Heavenly Father gave you.  Your future husband will thank you.
Love you deary,
Mom

Sophia's Blessing

On this bright, sunny June 2nd day... Sophia was blessed.
Daddy gave her the name Sophia Michelle Smith.
We can be a forever family.

You, Chloe Ann, were completely delighted to have all of your favorite people come together.  You jumped from lap to lap during sacrament meeting.  Then, you shrieked with excitement as we went back home for our "party."  It was a beautiful day and I'm grateful for those who made the effort to be there for us.  Mimi and Papa don't often come to church with us but when they do, their spirit's lift me up.  Grandma and grandpa on the other hand are always running around like crazy people at church (even ward to ward some days) and I appreciated their effort to be at our party despite their busy schedules.  Our friends, the Parkers, are like family to us and I'm glad they were also a part of such a special day. And, of course, your Aunt's attended as well.... gotta love them!
You were a good girl.  Strong willed as usual.
You love your baby sister and you certainly like to show it.
I love you honey,
Mom
