Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

Hey you,
Guess what?
We've moving again.
You were born in NM, you spent your first birthday in FL, and you'll be spending your second birthday back in NM.  Think you'll be spending your third in FL? Ha, I think not!
Our home is in NM and it's time for us to return.  Plus your Dad's awesome job allows us to.
I'm not looking forward to the long drive, the packing up, and the adjustment we'll all have to make but it will be so nice to be near ALL our family. You'll love it!  Florida-- THE BEACH-- will be missed but we will visit often.

Your Aunt Sunny and cousins are coming next week to help me pack up the apartment and they'll make the drive back to NM with us.  They'll be here for about 3 weeks before we leave so we'll be BUSY.

Here's what you should know:
Although you haven't actually turned 2, we've already been graced with the TERRIBLE TWO'S.  You throw fits that make me want to scream sometimes.  You throw yourself on the floor, scream, go limp in my arms, and hit on occassion.  It sure is tough to be almost 2, huh?  Lol.  With those crazy fits I've also gotten way more hugs than I ever did before.  You'll often throw your tantrum then get up, walk to me, and say, "HOG" a.k.a. "hug."  You also give eskimo kisses, which are new.

You are still potty TRAINING.  And with your new tantrums, training is getting harder.  It seems like your actually digressing and the move definitely won't help so I'm really nervous about it.  I appreciate your efforts though.

You love to read, still.

You now like to watch "Blues Clues" but you call it "Has Clues" for some reason.

You love chocolate milk.

You think sharks are pretty darn cool.

You always talk about Mimi & Papa, and Grandpa & Grandpa (you mean Grandpa & Grandma, I'm sure).

You're a brilliant child.  Of course, I'm biased.

I love you honey!
You'll get another book next year.  But just in case you don't....

HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY!
YOU'RE THE BEST DAUGHTER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.

Peanut Butter Girl

I just HAD to post these goofy pictures of you.
You won't eat PB&J sandwiches.
You won't eat celery with peanut butter on them.
You won't even dip your apples in peanut butter.
But give it to you on a spoon...

And you're suddenly in peanut butter heaven!
Love you Goof,
Mom

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Hello Dear,
I believe the last time we attended a baseball game was when you were in my belly.
I believe I was about 8 months pregnant or so. We'll consider this last weekend's baseball game as the second one you've ever attended. Ha!
Your Dad and I had been talking about how we needed to go to a Tampa Bay Ray's game because it might be one of the VERY few major league baseball games we'll ever attend. Don't get me wrong... I like baseball! I just don't follow it so closely that I'd be willing to travel across state lines to see a game. And since NM doesn't have a MLB team, we took advantage of Florida having one. It was fun! Albuquerque Isotopes games are just as fun... to be honest.
We, of course, forgot our camera but I caught a few of the fun memories on my phone.

When we arrived, we grabbed dinner! It consisted of hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, cotton candy, soda/water and was followed by ice cream. So healthy, right?? Uh, no! But the full baseball experience, nonetheless.
Mmm... Delicious!

Here's our happy family, enjoying the fun!

You got SO into it. You clapped and screamed, "YAY" while waving daddy's sweat towel around like a flag.

I think you definitely take after your dad in this sense...

The Rays threw 10 strikeouts during the game so we got 2 free personal pan pizzas. Good deal, huh?
We left during the top of the 9th inning though because you were getting pretty tired. I'm pretty sure the Rays lost :-(.
I owe your dad a big THANK YOU for taking such good care of you on this evening. He let me stay in the stadium and enjoy the game if you got restless and he'd wrangle you around. Gotta love your dad!

So fun!
Love you,
Mom

Your New Book

My Darling Chloe Girl,
This book begins quite a bit early.  Your 2nd birthday is still a little over a month away but I'm afraid we have a busy few months ahead of us.  I want to make sure you get a book for your birthday so your last book was ordered VERY early.  I wasn't taking any chances on not having "enough time."
Just thought you'd like to know why this book doesn't start with a birthday post.
Love you Babe,
Mom
